Good morning, Amy. Every time I go to the coast, I scarf up on fresh oysters. They do taste better right out of the ocean...

Amy- this looks like so much fun!  This is such a good way for a community to come together to support a good cause like Communities in Schools.

Hi Amy, we're heading back to the NC coast to consider it for retirement in a few years and I will keep this one on my list - Looks great !

Michael - I must admit, I am not an Oyster Fan..... But I am a Jack's Fan and a Communities in Schools Fan :0)  When you head to our neck of the woods, I'll make sure to take you to Jack's for some fresh oysters!

Kathy - These events are always so much fun!  Communities in Schools is so important, and need all the support we can give them!  Our children's education is too critical to ignore!

Amy ~ Wow that takes me back... When I was stationed in Ft. Eustis, VA. My one brother lived down in Portsmouth, south of Norfolf. There was a similar function, but with Crab. OMG! Like Michael mentioned, ... they do taste better, when they're fresh.

Amy, I'm like you, not really liking oysters, but I love the cause and the restaurant.  I may be there eating salad and some other kind of seafood that day.  Jack's is such a fun place and Jack is a local.  Support locals.

Love oysters! And for only $20 bucks to contribute to such a worthy cause, I'm certain there will be a huge crowding attendance. 

Nice way to get the word out, Amy-you made it nice and easy for people to find Jack's with you map. Hope the oyster roast raising a ton of money for the worthy cause.

My husband would be there in a heartbeat. Me, not so much. When we are in Florida we hit the joints for fresh oysters but I have the beer. :)

Amy, oysters are definitely one of my favorites and the location on the map looks like the perfect spot to get lost in bunches of oysters...Tabasco and beer!!!

Yep yep yep, I'm with Shar!  You guys eat the oysters and she and I will have the beer! 

Jon - Head on over sometime.... We have the best & freshest seafood here on the Crystal Coast!

Marian - You're right, the owners are wonderful people, and Jack's is such a fun place..... and that view, Ahhhhh!  I love supporting our schools and the local businesses!

Craig - I missed the event :0(  Was at Verizon trying to get my new phone (which they ended up having to order, blah, blah, blah.....  But, I can still help by donating school supplies and volunteering for Stuff the Bus!

Lottie - It was a success, and unfortunately, I didn't get to go!  Communities in Schools is such an important cause.... 

Joy - I feel very blessed to live in such a beautiful area with friendly folks.... Come on over!

Shar - I'd be sitting at the bar having a beer with you;0)  Not a big Oyster fan, but I am definitely a fan of Jack's and Communities in Schools!

Nick - It is an Awesome location.... You can't go wrong with Jack's (and they have a great beer selection).  And the Morehead City Waterfront is absolutely beautiful!
